摘要
Fluorescence kinetics indicate that photoexcited dimers of 7-azaindole undergo a double proton transfer in less than 5 ps at room temperature and 77 K. The photoautomerization at 77 K is found to be dependent on the excitation wavelength. A double well excited state potential surface is used to interpret the results. © 1979.
