摘要
A minimum of dietary fibre in the daily diet is recommended by any dietitian. The DGE recommends at least 30 g per day for adults. Dietary fibres are said to have many effects on the digestive tract and metabolism. The term ''dietary fibre'' comprises extremely heterogeneous compounds of different physiological effects. Starting from definition, ingredients and properties of dietary fibre (part I), some physiological effects of dietary fibre in humans are discussed (part II).
