摘要
The formation of reading comprehension skills in aspiring to enter the undergraduate students has been, for decades, an institutional concern of some public universities evidenced through the preparatory and preparatory courses. However, in the UNET (National Experimental University of Tachira), programs and materials used along with the training and evaluation of teachers dictating Language Language course in preparatory course (CP), were not the most suitable for effects of training them in academic literacy. For this reason, the intention of this article is to present a proposal for online training on academic reading aimed at teachers of language that dictate class in this type of admission, since they do not have a background in this area and is essential for turn, train their students. It will be online because it favors the special conditions of contract of this group of teachers, who would serve as the first step of training in this area, because the intention is to extend this training to all teachers of language and other specialties of the institution as part of teacher training policies conducted by the CODE (Coordination of Educational Development). The ultimate goal would be that "trained teachers" know the thematic and structural peculiarities of specialized texts from their discourse communities, especially engineering, and develop into "reading mediators".
