摘要
In the absence of efficiency of the European mechanisms to fight against fraud and after several years of negotiations, Regulation 2017/1939 implementing enhanced cooperation on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office was finally approved on 12th Octobre 2017. The main function of the EPPO focuses on the investigation of criminal offences affecting the financial interests of the Union which are provided for in Directive (EU) 2017/1371, as well as on the prosecution against their perpetrators and accomplices in the competent courts of the Member States. This article analyses the European Public Prosecutor's Office's competence, structure and organisation, rules of procedure and relations with its partners.
