摘要
A new procedure for measuring the thermal diffusivity of thermal insulation materials and an automated experimental apparatus are described, based on the application of digital measurement and computer techniques for implementation of the conventional method of plane temperature waves. The thermal diffusivity of a quartz ceramic with 50% porosity is investigated in the temperature range 700-1400 K. The contribution of the radiative component of heat transfer is estimated.
