A Simple Method to Calculate the Structural Displacement

摘要
The similarity of the differential relation between the structural displacement and the internal force provide an effective new method to calculate structural displacement, namely the curvature load method. The curvature of every member is looked upon as the distribution load, and that are regarded as the bar element piecewise point such as support joint, bar node and curvature changing place, then the nodal forces are obtained basing on the supporting condition at two opposite ends. Hereby, the shearing curves and the bending moment curves are obtained. The rotor angle displacement curves and the deflection displacement curves are got correspondingly. Hence the resolving thoughts of the curvature load method are proposed and the expressions for the rotor angle displacement and deflection displacement are also given under common curvature load. The examples show that, the method introduced above is correct, and easy to calculate, and the above work is a kind of beneficial attempt and exploration in structural displacement calculation.
