摘要
The extraction of alkali metal salts of α-hexyl (2,4-dinitro-N-picryl-1-naphtylamine) into nitrobenzene has been studied colorimetrically and radiometrically. The affinity of the α-hexyl anion for nitrobenzene as compared with that of dipicrylamine, expressed as the equilibrium exchange constant for the reaction αaq- + DPAorg- ⇌ αorg-+DPAaq- is given by log KDPAα = 0·85. The extraction exchange constants KKCs, KNaCs and KLiCs are practically the same as for dipicrylamine. The dissociation constant pKHα0 of α-hexyl in nitrobenzene saturated with water was estimated to be 9·75. The solubilities of caesium α-hexylate in water and nitrobenzene are given. © 1969.
