摘要
This paper presents the results of studies of mass and heat transfer mechanisms in the osmotic distillation process. These results have allowed the establishment of a transfer model to predict production data (water flux and juice concentration) using various operating parameters. Also, the similarities and the differences between the osmotic distillation and the membrane distillation processes are discussed.
