摘要
The solubilization of the polycyclic hydrocarbon benzo[a]pyrene by aqueous solutions of dAMP‐Ag+ complexes has been investigated. At high pH solubilization is efficient at Ag+/dAMP ratios not more than 1 but is markedly diminished when the ratio of total silver ions added per base residue is greater than 2. The components separately show little solubilizing activity. The ultraviolet absorption and circular dichroism spectra of silver complexes of dAMP and poly A under various conditions have been compared. Copyright © 1969, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
