摘要
We present equations describing the evolution of a thin, axisymmetric, viscous, relativistic, irradiated accretion disk, and numerical solutions of these equations in the case where irradiation results from a thermonuclear flash on the surface of the accreting neutron star. These calculations verify the notion that the radiation torque induces a substantial increase in accretion rate, during a type 1 X-ray burst, and provide insight into the factors which influence the dynamical response of the disk.
