摘要
Fusion cross sections and mean angular momenta have been measured for O-16 + Cd-112 around the Coulomb barrier. The experimental results are well reproduced by coupled-channels calculations, confirming the validity of this model for mass-asymmetric systems. The predicted asymptotic behaviour of the mean angular momentum at low energies has been observed.
