An experiment was conducted during the winter seasons of 1983-84 and 1984-85 to find out the effect of N, P, K, Zn and Rhizobium inoculation on yield of 'Rachna' field pea (Pisum sativum L. sensu lato) at Faizabad. Ten treatment combinations of N, P, K, Zn and inoculation were tested in randomized block design with 4 replications. The maximum yields of grain (29.74 and 31.64 q/ha) were recorded when the crop was fertilized with 18 kg N + 46 kg P2O5 + 40 kg K2O + 25 kg ZnSO4/ha during both the years.
