摘要
The management for creativity and innovation is a challenge, especially for companies in highly competitive environments and to meet this challenge, it has been argued that companies must have specific features to promote creative behavior, developing factors that can positively influence creativity of individuals, making the most innovative organizations. In this context, it becomes extremely important to understand the factors that influence creativity and the development of innovations, especially psychological factors. Thus, this theoretical essay discuss the relationship between psychological factors, especially the emotions, creativity and innovation, in order to bring contributions to the improvement of creativity and innovation management. It is also proposed a preliminary theoretical model, aiming to provide some relationships to be investigated in future studies. In order for the organizational environment to be the locus of useful creation, the context must be of support to the individuals who work in it, since these individuals are part of the emotions, in different valences and intensities. However, the causal links between emotions, creativity and innovation must continue to be examined, since the operationalization of concepts, and the results are not yet conclusive. Therefore, it is important that the two theoretical sub-fields related to creativity and innovation become more integrated in the future because of its potential and because currently there is very little synergy. In addition, it is essential that these studies have multi-level character, integrating individual, group and organizational levels in the various creative sectors.
