摘要
Comprehension of the disability as a social phenomenon has allowed thinking the diversity of a homogenizing model, which negates the difference as a constitutive feature of human being. This way of conceiving the disability allow to recognize advances in achieving rights and more involvement of population groups in social vulnerability conditions, in which people with disabilities are situated. Mobilized by movements and by struggles for social rights, people with disabilities have claimed equal opportunities to accessing and staying in university. Under such circumstances, this article investigated the point of view of college students with disabilities about inclusion conditions in the university. Data were collected through an interview, using of a semi-structured script, and analyzed according to the content analysis. Analysis allowed to establish what the participants said about the conditions of accessibility in the investigated university, what corroborates and fosters a debate about the academic formation of those people with disabilities in the higher education. Students revealed discursive movements of resistance and empowerment of those who were on the fringes of the university walls.
