摘要：
This research analyzes the citations to scientific brazilian journals on Information areas (Archival, Library, Information Science, Documentation and Museology) published in 2009-2010. It aims to identify the most cited journals in papers and thesis by citation analysis. A bibliographic database (ABCDM) was used as source of data. A sample of 100 papers, that was selected randomly, and 70 thesis of Information Science were analyzed. The variables of the research were: the journal title, number of articles with journal citations, citation number and number of articles published. Charts were generated in MS-Excel. The most cited Brazilian journals in the fields of Information are currently Ciencia da Informacao, Perspectivas em Ciencia da Informacao and DataGramaZero.
