摘要
The performance of a slow neutron area detector, based on a scintillating glass fiber plate coupled to an intensified CCD, at room temperature, is reported. In the preliminary test single neutron events are detected with a spatial resolution of approximately 100 mum (FWHM). Possible improvements are discussed.
