摘要
Environmental Education is understood by education itself plus its environmental focus. Therefore, nothing is observed that education through the prism society and nature. Considering the human being as part of the set of forces that maintains the balance of the planetary ecosystem, and not an element above it, power will be discussing the authenticity and significance of environmental education regarding human actions on the environment, which give parameters to discuss the meaning of education in citizen behavior. Seek to argue about the questioning about the Environment, Education (Environmental) through the study of these historical and social aspects, taking into account the dialectical reading of the elements and senses that focus on citizens' attitudes and the evolution of the determining factors for the development of capitalist society. The methodology used was theoretical bibliographical authors listed in the Dialectics Materialist, as well as contemporary researchers of Environmental Education.
