摘要
This article aims to present the contributions of institutional work to strategy as practice (SAP) perspective. The SAP approach has focused more on micro interactions than on how strategic practices can affect the institutional environment. To overcome this limitation, some authors have discussed the possibility of converging SAP ideas with contemporaneous teorical approaches of the institutional perspective. The institutional work is one of those contemporaneous approaches. This concept seeks to demonstrate how social actors would be able to create, maintain and dissolve institutions. By articulating institutional work concept with SAP perspective is possible to understand better the implications of strategising for broader institutional context, without restricting the analysis to the practitioners' micro activities. We conclude that this theorical articulation is interesting for the study of SAP perspective by indicating more clearly the strategizing implications for the organizational field or even for society as a whole, not restricting the analysis just for one organization or for its particular interests.
