MEASUREMENTS OF OH ROTATIONAL TEMPERATURES IN FLAMES BY USING POLARIZATION SPECTROSCOPY

摘要
Ppolarization spectroscopy is applied to determine temperatures in flames. Spectra of the A(2) Sigma-X(2)II(0, 0) system of the OH molecule were measured using polarization spectroscopy in a premixed atmospheric pressure acetylene-oxygen flame and in a Bunsen type propane-air flame. Rotational temperatures were determined from the measured spectra by the Boltzmann plotting method.
