摘要
Analyzing selected texts from an online journal devoted to the September 11, 2001 in New York, this paper studies the imbrications and divergences between conspiracy theory discourse and the sciences. Especial attention is given to the social sciences. It is claimed that the conspiracy theory analyzed in this paper is better understood, not as something alien or at odds with scientific discourse, but as a hypertrophy of that discourse.
