摘要
This paper deals with three models for a two-unit cold-standby system under the assumption that each unit attains three different modes-normal (N), partial failure (P) and complete failure (F). Different types of repair men are employed for the three models. In model 1 the repair man is always with the system. In model 2 the repair man comes at the moment a unit fails, whereas in model 3 he takes some random time in reaching the system. Profit is calculated for each model and a comparison of these profits have been made.
