摘要
Alloxan and ninhydrin, which are vicinal tricarbonyl compounds (reductones), play an important part in oxidation-reduction systems like ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Their central carbonyl groups activated by adjacent two carbonyl groups are so reactive that they combine easily with 1 mole of water to form a hydrate. Data are presented which demonstrate that alloxan or ninhydrin radical anions which are obtained from alloxantin or hydrindantin, respectively, by treatment with triethylamine could be trapped in stable condition by polymer cations that contain 1-benzyl-3-carbamoyl pyridinium or 1-benzylpyridinium salts structure.
