摘要：

We report on a 12 year old girl with osteosarcoma of the left humerus complicated by a thrombosis of the superior vena cava. The patient was treated with a combination of thrombolytic and anticoagulant therapy. The early use of thrombolytic agents led to a significant, albeit partial, improvement of the clinical picture, probably because of the complete obstruction of the vessel.
