摘要
This paper reports an analytical study of the steady incompressible flow past a circular cylinder embedded in a constant porosity medium based on the Brinkman model. A closed form exact solution is obtained for the governing equations, which leads to an expression for the separation parameter. The analysis is also concerned with the explanation of the velocity overshoot behaviour.
