New prey records (n=239) for the following species of Proctacanthus in North American collections are listed: P. coquillettii, P. longus, P. micans, P. nearno, P. nigriventris, P. occidentalis, P. philadelphicus, and P. rodecki. Prey were most often recorded for P. milbertii (n=129); these prey represented 7 insect orders and 17 families.
