摘要
An electric-discharge pulsed CO2 laser preionized by the soft X-ray radiation has been studied. Discharge and emission characteristics of the laser are compared under the discharge initiation by the soft X-ray and UV radiation. Advantages are shown of the use of the soft X-ray radiation at large apertures (20 cm) as well as in mixtures containing up to 40% of molecular gases. In this case the radiation energy amounted to 350 J.
