摘要：
This literature review aims to analyze the relationship between the student assistance policies with the academic performance of students. Checking through published works, for evidence that by receiving the benefits of the aforementioned policies, the student develops favorable conditions for their quality of life and consequently to their academic performance. It was necessary to rummage the concept of quality of life, to see how policies could interfere in it and so on student achievement. Later it shows the student assistance policy and its link to academic performance.
