VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF SKEW CANTILEVER PLATES WITH STIFFENERS

摘要
An investigation of the free vibrations of a skew cantilever plate with stiffener(s) by means of a finite element method is described. The influences of stiffneners, such as the stiffener's length, depth, number and location, have been examined. Stiffener(s) located at different position can cause the magnitudes of the natural frequency parameters to vary significantly, and thus change the corresponding vibrating mode shapes. Natural frequency parameters are increased as long as the depth of the stiffener is increased, but remains still within the depth limitation. Dynamic characteristics for cantilever plates with stiffener(s) for specified angles of skew also have been investigated. As the angle of skew is increased, the natural frequency parameters of the modes are generally increased. The present results are compared with available published results and are found to be in good agreement. © 1992.
