摘要
Two special characteristics of an S-shaped two-coupler optical fiber-ring resonator are studied. The first is that the resonant curve of the transmitted (or the reflected) output intensity can change from a channel-passing type to a channel-blocking type under certain conditions. The second is the flattening of the blocking band of the transmitted output intensity at full resonance when the intensity coupling coefficient of any one of the two 2 x 2 fiber couplers is relatively large.
