摘要
Background. The pulpal diseases of immature permanent teeth are seen as a complication of caries or as a complication of mechanical injuries. Treatment of those diseases is very difficult and leads to many complications. The pulpal therapy of immature teeth and the most common complication, that are seen after treatment, are discussed in the paper. Objectives. The aim of the study was the analysis of the frequency of performing obligatory endodontic treatment of immature permanent teeth in the children treated in Chair and Department of Paedodontics Medical University of Lublin in years 2005 to 2008 Materials and Methods. The group of 2349 patients aged 6-9 years were observed. Then, 38 patients (1.62%) were divided into the experimental group. The first group included 22 girls and the second group included 16 boys. Patients in this group required the endodontic treatment of immature teeth. Results. The caries of immature teeth was the reason of pulpal disease in 28 of patients, and acute mechanical injuries were the reason for pulpal disease in 10 of patients in the experimental group. Patients from the experimental group were treated in different ways depended on progression of the disease. In 9 of patients partial pulpotomy was taken; in 14 of patients extripation in anesthesia was taken; in 11 of patients mortal method was taken; in 4 patients extraction was taken, because there was no therapeutic indication. The rest of patients from experimental group is still being treated. Conclusions. Cooperation with young patients and method of treatment had important influence on result in the endodontic treatment of permanent immature teeth. The best results (apexification) were achieved with partial pulpotomy
