Differential dose albedos are reported for reflection of 60Co gamma rays from concrete. Data are reported for 5 polar angles of incidence, 3 polar angles of reflection and azimuthal angles of reflection from 0° to 158°. Total scattering angles varied from 33° to 155°. Measurements were made using a 3″ × 3″ Nal(Tl) scintillator in a lead collimator with a 0.011 stread aperture. Pulse-height spectra were accumulated in a 400-channel pulse-height analyzer. Data analysis was accomplished using an experimentally determined response matrix with 25 unequal energy intervals over the range 20-1200 keV. © 1969.
