摘要
The theory of similarity is a very helpful instrument for transferring measuring data from a model to the real process and for setting-up empirical process equations. After a short description of the methods of establishing a complete set of dimensionless similarity numbers, some examples from physics and metal forming demonstrate the use of this theory. Finally the limits are discussed.
