COLLABORATION BETWEEN RHEUMATOLOGIST AND GENERAL-PRACTITIONER

The problems of rheumatic patients as well as the problems of rheumatologists and general practitioners are discussed. The article deals with the activities of Slovene rheumatologists, evaluates the professional cooperation and bonds between specialists and general practitioners. The present forms of postgraduate education in the field of rheumatology for the general practitioners is mentioned. The problems of hospitalizations and especially of the outpatient work at the Clinic of Rheumatology in Ljubljana are presented. Also, the possible solving of the problems are indicated.
