On the derivation of symmetry adapted perturbation theories

摘要：

A general formalism is developed from which many symmetry adapted perturbation theories may be obtained. Among the special cases are the Van der Avoird-Hirschfeider. Amos-Musher, Murrell-Shaw and Musher-Amos procedures. Implicit assumptions concerning the nature of the functions calculated in these methods are discussed.
