摘要
L-Leucine was produced from alpha-ketoisocaproic acid at about 100% conversion with L-glutamate as an amino donor using cell-free extracts of Euglena gracilis Z. alpha-Ketogluarate decarboxylase in Euglena drives the conversion to completion by removal of alpha-ketoglutarate formed during the transmination.
