EXPERIMENTAL INFECTIONS OF MICE WITH PASTEURELLA-MULTOCIDA STRAINS ISOLATED FROM RABBITS

摘要：
Twenty strains of Pasteurella multocida isolated from domestic rabbits were investigated for their pathogenic potentials in mice. Marked differences in subcutaneous LD50 were noted. Strains with similar colony types showed important differences in virulence. Three strains, which originated from rabbitries in which a septicaemic form of rabbit pasteurellosis was proven or suspected, were highly virulent. Strains from typical snuffles were of moderate or low virulence. © 1979.
