摘要
Modifications of elemental composition of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x singlecrystalline surface under medium energy (3keV) electron irradiation have been investigated by AES. The doses reached 10(3)C/cm2. It is shown, that electron bombardment leads to dissociation of the target material, displaying in the decrease of Bi content and increase of Sr, Cu and Ca ones. This effect is principally unthermal and explained in terms of Bi-O bond disruption in the upper layer of a crystal.
