摘要
Complexes of 1-butyroyl-4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazide (BTSC) with some transition metals have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic moment and spectral (visible, IR) studies. The IR spectra show that BTSC behaves as neutral, mononegative and binegative ligand and coordinates in bidentate or bridging tetradentate manner. A tetrahedral structure is proposed for Co(II) complex, square-planer for Ni(II), Pd(II) and Cu(BTSC)Cl2 complexes and octahedral for Cu(BTSC-H)Ac . 2H2O complex according to the data of magnetic and electronic spectral measurements.
