摘要
Heat transfer between the riser wall and particle bed in a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) particles has been studied in terms of the local bed densities and solid particle velocities near the heat transfer surface, which were measured by reflection-type optical-fiber probes. The results showed that the bed-to-wall heat transfer coefficients for a small heat transfer surface used in this work were well estimated using the packet model of Mickley and Fairbanks (1955) with several assumptions.
