摘要
A photoelectron-photoion coincidence spectrometer including time-of-flight mass analysis with a double accelerating field is reported. The counting statistics are given for coincidence measurements by the use of time-to-pulse height conversion and the problems involved in the measurements are discussed. The results obtained for methanol-d4 are presented to describe the performance of the spectrometer. Major fragmentations following He(I) photoionization of methanol are studied by its mass spectra in coincidence with energy-analyzed photoelectrons and by kinetic energy releases accompanying the decompositions. © 1979.
