TUNABLE NARROW-BAND COHERENT VUV SOURCE FOR THE LYMAN-ALPHA REGION

摘要
The output from a butyl-PBD dye laser, pumped by a nitrogen laser or a KrF excimer laser, has been frequency tripled in krypton gas to generate coherent Lyman-alpha radiation. A tuning range of 1203-1236 Å was obtained, with high output power (up to 5 W, 1010 photons/pulse) and narrow bandwidth (4 x 10-3 Å). © 1979.
