The article involves the explication of F. Nietzsche's idea of eternal recurrence in A.S. Pushkin's and F.I. Tyutchev's poetry. This article discusses the poems of Pushkin and Tyutchev which contain the motif of memories and return. There are moments when the past, present and future are interwoven in an intricate pattern, their isolation from each other is removed. Eternity begins to play a thousand reflections and colors in every moment. This is the eternal return, when eternity and the moment become equal to each other, are seen through each other. This fundamental idea of Nietzsche which he developed in "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" and the rough drafts stands as one of the central motifs of the lyrics of Pushkin and Tyutchev. Sometimes, inspirations of the poet anticipate relevant discoveries in the field of philosophy. They get philosophical expression only a few decades later. This, in the author's view, is the case with Pushkin and Tyutchev. Pictures of the past come to life in the present because of the poetic recollection. Active memory frees the past from isolation, places it in the present and focuses on the future. Past, present and future merge in the moment of poetic creation which pervades eternity. And it is not just "literature". It is an act of creation of the past, present and future, the act of creation of eternity existing in the past, present and future. Past, present and future themselves not imbued with creative dictates are only fragments and chances. But the creating will, the will to power collects all the pieces together, gives sense to the random, gives the transient the nature of the eternal. The isolated present, for which the past is just dead weight, undergoes a creative denial. The past comes to life in the present, penetrates it, expands the current moment to the horizon of eternity, gives becoming the nature of eternity. The world is revealed as an eternal play of light and shadow, as the overflowing stream of life. There is a return of not only the moment of poetic creation and ecstasy, but also pain and suffering, grief and loss inextricably connected with them. Formation is approved in its entirety. One can make an assumption that the entire poem of Tyutchev "Vnov' tvoi ya vizhu ochi" ("Once again I see your eyes") is a poetic realization of Pushkin's "dear hope" to "see again the midday shore". Tyutchev's lyrical hero is the lyrical hero of Pushkin who has carried out their wishes. Thus, it is poetry that gives us the clearest prototype of the eternal return; it generates will capable of saving the past and building the future.
