MAGNETIC-BEHAVIOR OF SOFT FERROMAGNETIC MATERIALS

摘要
The initial M-H behaviour of two soft ferromagnetic Fe40Ne40B20 and Co75Si15B10 amorphous alloys is measured under different tensile stresses. It is observed that the data when plotted in terms of reduced variables (M/M(s) and H/H(c)) collapse into a single curve for each alloy. The anisotropy energy is dominantly magnetostrictive and is found to be proportional to H(c). An equation of state (M/M(s) vs. H/H(k); H(k) is the anisotropy field) is derived using phenomenology, and can be fitted well to the experimental data.
