摘要
Resistance measurements of thin film electrodes allow to monitor different kinds of surface processes. We examined the resistance change of silver electrodes in KCl and KClO4 electrolytes due to anion adsorption and desorption, corrosion from Cl-, and surface roughness from oxidation reduction cycles or silver deposition from solution. Surface roughness is known to be important for surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The influence of pyridine was investigated in some cases and in-situ SER-spectra were recorded during silver deposition.
