ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING IN SOUTH-AFRICA - THE DEBATE CONTINUES - A RESPONSE

This is a rejoinder, from the perspective of the ISP, to Nattrass's critique of the ISP progmmme. It begins by identifying three issues in which there is a concordance between Nattrass and the ISP programme. This is followed by a discussion of a further three areas in which Nattrass misrepresents the viewpoint of the ISP research programme. This note concludes by discussing the implicit policy agenda in Nattrass's discussion, and contrasting that with the policy orientation of the ISP.
