摘要：
The effect of the addition or the removal of an electron on the structure of organic substrates is discussed. Emphasis will be put on the information about the geometry of radical ions as obtained by EPR spectroscopy and on the use of simple computational tools such as Huckel MO theory and MM2 or INDO calculations in predicting the structural changes induced by ET processes.
