摘要
In this work power and performance charts of a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine with variable geometry, is presented. This study corresponds to the continuation of previous studies presented and aims to analyze and know the power and efficiency obtained by the device when a constant load is applied, while the wind speed varies. The tests were conducted in an open wind tunnel, and points of maximum efficiency were obtained for the wind speeds analyzed. These data are compared with those of other prototypes collected in the literature, and it was concluded that performance is slightly below average. In conclusions the improvement points of this device are emphasized to increase efficiency.
