摘要
This study examines the phonology of a developmentally disordered Portuguese-speaking child. Her system reveals several regular, phonetically motivated processes which are in conflict with the ambient language. The patterns of regularity relate to aerodynamics of voicing, foot-based depalatalization, and non-lateral liquid deletions on the basis of salient acoustic changes in segment sequences. The viability of these patterns, as well as their clinical implications, are discussed.
