摘要
A model recently proposed for the description of 0+ states in 40Ca and 42Ca is used for a more complete calculation of the properties of 40Ca. The model reproduces all known 2+ levels and also gives good agreement with the 11 known E2 transition probabilities. A value for the sum of the neutron and proton effective charges of 1.9 is used. © 1969.
