摘要
The conditions for dynamic instabilities of electromagnetically levitated metal specimens have been investigated. Methods which eliminate the instabilities have been developed and were used to decarburize and degas a levitated niobium sphere in ultra-high vacuum for a period of 16 hours. © 1979.
